When we meet with people to discuss their projects, we love discovering what their dream is and how we can make it happen. We work with every homeowner to design the layout of every project.  We don’t look at their project as if we are building a stamp concrete patio, but we look at it as we are creating a space for their enjoyment.  That’s what we did for Barb, and here’s her story.

Stamp Concrete Patio for Outdoor Entertaining

When we met with Barb on this project she expressed to us how important it was for her to entertain outdoors. She was sick of being confined indoors when she had her friends and family over as she didn’t have a space outside.  That’s what we aimed to do for Barb, to build her dream outdoor entertaining area.

We started with a stamped concrete patio. Stamped concrete is a perfect material to use outdoors as it can withstand Central New York’s extreme weather fluctuations.  It’s also versatile.  Stamped concrete offers many options for design, patterns, and colors.  For Barb’s project, we used the Grand Ashlar Slate pattern with a stained border to frame in their patio nicely.  The colors we used were Mesa Stone for the base and we incorporated a dark brown grout color to add texture and depth to the overall design.

With Barb’s dream in mind, we added a round architectural block fire pit.  We then added a rough cut wood pergola and stained it dark to match the rest of her rustic colors.  We surrounded the wood posts of the pergola with architectural block pillars and capped them with Techo-Bloc’s Mini Creta blocks.  To finish her patio area off we built her a beautiful stair unit that leads up to her sliding glass patio door.

Barb’s outdoor entertaining space is now complete and she is one happy customer and we really enjoyed working with her.

Barb’s Testimonial

The work done on our property by the NuCrete team was excellent.  The quality of their work was exceptional.  Nu-Crete guided us through the entire project from drawing up the plans to our final inspection.  They made the process very easy.  With me being a full-time remote home worker, the team did a great job at letting me know when they were using larger equipment. I look forward to working with the Nu-Crete team on our next project!  – Barb: Warners, NY
