When Pat called us he said he had a lot of work for us, and he wasn’t kidding.  So naturally we were excited to meet up with him to start our process of laying out, designing, and planning his project.  He explained to us that he wanted stamped concrete after reading up on it’s benefits.  After asking him what he envisioned he explained to us that he and his wife didn’t have a nice walkway for his guests to use to walk to his front door.  He also wanted walkways on both sides of his home that led to his back yard where he wanted a sprawling stamped concrete patio because they love entertaining and hosting gatherings.  Lastly he said that he knew that he needed retaining walls on the side and back of his home where his grade dropped off so we walked him through that and he eventually had us incorporate large pillars with poured and stamped concrete caps with lights.

The walkways and patio is our Arizona Flagstone pattern.  The concrete is colored with Talledega Tan with Medium Brown release agent.  We also added Medium Brown colored borders which are stamped with our Seamless Slate pattern.  Notice that we added a circular walkway connector piece in front of his main entrance that adds a ton of curb appeal, we also stamped this with our Seamless Slate pattern.  The pillars in the front of his home and retaining walls on the side and back of his home are built with Techo Bloc’s Mini-Creta wall blocks which are Mojave Beige in color.  The final touch was adding a large natural stone water feature that has a mini water fall that spills into a small retention pond which we built by the corner of his patio.

Pat and his wife are absolutely thrilled with the final product.  Please check out his final project pictures by clicking on them.  Tell us what you think, we’d love to hear from you!
